Elton John Latest: Singer Storms off Stage in Middle of Vegas Show

Elton John swore at fans and stormed off stage in Las Vegas earlier this week but he later returned to finish the show.

In a video which was obtained by TMZ, Elton invited audience members to the stage to watch him belt out the song while playing the piano. One man could be seen trying to touch him, seemingly asking for a high five, leading Elton to mouth “F**k off” to the said man.

But it appeared that the man was persistent as he kept touching the singer. A security member tried to shoo the man away several times before Elton finally had enough. He got up and furiously stormed off the stage while the band kept playing. Fans could be heard saying that they thought the show was over because of the said man.

Fortunately for the rest of the audience members, Elton only went backstage to cool himself down. He eventually came back to the stage to finish his performance. But it didn’t mean that he would forget what just happened to him. “No more coming on stage during ‘Saturday Night’. You f***ed it up!” he told the audience before performing a rendition of “Circle of Life”.

The incident came after the “Rocket Man” hitmaker announced that he would be retiring from touring after embarking on a 300-date worldwide tour called “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour. Elton revealed that the reason for his retirement was because he wanted to focus on husband David Furnish and sons Elijah and Zachary.

“I don’t want to miss them and I don’t want them to miss me,” he said in a live-streamed press conference in New York City. “I want to be at home. I really want to spend my time with my children at home.”
