Kirill Tereshin: Russian body-builder faces having limbs amputated

A Russian man has been warned he faces having his arms amputated after using a home made chemical concoction to bulk up his muscles.

The Daily Mail reports Kirill Tereshin, 21, from Russia claims his “bazooka arms are about to fall off” after years of injecting them with a concoction of oil, lidocaine and alcohol.

In posts to his Instagram account, Tereshin’s arms appear red and purple. However, even after being warned by doctors of the possibility of amputation or paralysis, he is still injecting himself with the enhancers.

Tereshin says he used to inject himself 10 times a day.

“Not immediately, but he very likely faces amputation in the future.” Professor Evgeny Lilin told the Daily Mail.

Through the years, Tereshin has increased the size of biceps to 23 inches, with a goal of 27 inches.

Asked why he continues to destroy his health with the injections, Tereshin had a simple answer.

‘I love to be recognisable.’
