Taylor Swift stalker jailed for attempted burglary at the pop star’s Tribeca apartment.

Mohammed Jaffar pled guilty to attempted burglary in the second degree on Monday, May 7, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office told E!

On Wednesday, the presiding judge sentenced Jaffar to six months in jail and five years on probation, with a requirement to receive mental health treatment in Michigan.

Webtopnews previously confirmed that 29-year-old was arrested on charges of burglary and stalking in New York in March 2017. Court documents said Jaffar intended on meeting the “Shake It Off” singer face-to-face. From January to February of last year, Jaffar was said to have called Swift’s management company approximately 59 times and left a series of voicemails.

A witness said the now guilty defendant managed to enter the building of Swift’s $20-million Tribeca penthouse apartment on Feb. 6, 2017 and lingered in the hallway. He eventually made his way to the building’s roof, a visit which is believed to have lasted four hours.

One week later Jaffar was alleged to have returned to her building, ringing the 23-year-old’s doorbell for roughly one hour. The same witness apparently told the District Attorney’s Office they confronted Jaffar and told him to leave the premises.

Nevertheless, he showed up the following evening and spent 45 minutes ringing on the “Bad Blood” songstress’s doorbell. He arrived one last time the day after that. Jaffar was originally arrested on one count of burglary in the second degree, two counts of attempted burglary in the second degree and one count of stalking in the fourth degree. His bail was set at $20,000 cash or bond.

Swift’s friend Gigi Hadid had her own stalker scare in 2015 at her New York property. The man in Hadid’s case — Marcell Porter — was committed to a psychiatric facility last October.
